FOUNDER & COMPANY HISTORY
J. Patrick Fleming, Sr. founded Kinetic Diversified Industries, Inc. in 1987. Dr. Fleming was a graduate of DePaul University (Chicago, Ill.) and received his BA in both Business Administration and Commerce. Fleming had a 26 year Naval career, retiring as a Lt. Commander. He obtained two Masters Degrees, one in Business Administration and one in Real Estate from National University in San Diego. He obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration and Real Estate from USIU (San Diego). In August of 1993, Dr. Fleming passed away leaving the corporation to his children, Rick, Maria and Jill.
His eldest and youngest children, J. Patrick Fleming, Jr. and Jill P. Fleming, continue to own and operate the company. His eldest granddaughter, Kristina Leek, is the Office Manager and is known as "the voice of KDI", often the one that you will first speak to if you call the office. Another granddaughter, Laralyn Ogilvie, also works in the front office. As a family owned and operated company, we celebrate our children and grandchildren and that being said, the "little" voices you may hear in the background when you call us are most likely the great-grandchildren of Dr. Fleming.
